Iranian Association for Mathematics Teachers

 

 

Considering the roll of scientific and didactic conventions in promoting the pro-science and platting innovation and creativity among teachers and notifying to organization of  instruction and  nurture of  province from reflection of didactic programs and their part as consulting groups of  staffing groups, and in order to attract the support of  official and unofficial organizations from activity of  convention, notifying from ethics, goals and policies of conventions has a well-deserved roll in their stabilization and realization of  related goals and thus a summary of  ethics and activities of  scientific and didactic conventions is presented.

The precedence of  organizing scientific association for mathematics teachers is reached to years 1370 and after and performance of  teachers' scientific conferences in instruction and nurture. In order to order to activities of scientific association for mathematics teachers, by done pursuits, the conditions for establishing scientific association for mathematics teachers was provided on the basis of  the vote of 369th session 74/11/17  by high council of cultural evolution that on the basis of  vote upon, the assistance of  schematization and human resources proceed on the basis of method of scientific conventions by cooperation of instruction and nurture organization of provinces to toward emission of justification and supervision on work of conventions.

 

Duties and assignment of instruction and nurture conventions

1. Research on scientific and cultural backgrounds by teachers in national levels.
2. Cooperation with scientific, researching and executive institutions of instruction and nurture in aspects of  scientific results and revision of plans and survey of executive problems of scientific and didactic circumstances.
3. Prod and persuading teachers and students to corporate in researching and didactic circumstances.
4. Try on approving teachers' scientific level by communicating with didactic groups.
5. Teachers' communication in planning, designing, and performing didactic terms.
6. Transmitting scientific experiences and art of tuition to teachers and creating background for scientific cooperation and communication among teachers.
7. Introducing of didactic standards in different levels of study by teachers.

 

Sientific groups of convention

1. Committee of research and instruction.
2. Committee of surveying study books.
3. Committee of propagations.
4. Committee of statistics and data.
5. Committee of reception and generic term.
6. Committee of scientific congresses.
7. Redacting team.

 

Financial sources of convention

1. Members' membership right.
2. Incomes due to presenting didactic, researching and council services.
3. Perception of presents and avails.
4. Support of instruction and didactic organization.

 

Stages and state of establishing teachers' union of scientific and didactic conventions

Teachers' union of scientific and didactic conventions, in every field, is constituted by originator's offer and approval of instruction and nurture ministry and in order to establish organic relationship between secretariat of scientific association for mathematics teachers and each wrought   convention and also to create coordination and relation between scientific association for mathematics teachers about scientific and proficient circumstances related to that field and with regard to points below:

1.  inquiring to request of establishing union of teachers' conventions, surveying scientific and didactic qualification of originator team and approval of their statute  is stand on « council of surveying of scientific association for mathematics teachers » put in bureau of instruction and approval of professional crafts.

2.  only one union is constituted in each scientific field

3.  in order to constituting the quorum of number of active conventions in one scientific field in the country, is specified 16. if the quorum above is reached in any of scientific fields, the  secretariat of council of surveying scientific conventions is bound to inform all scientific conventions by the way of organization of instruction and nurture.

4.  if  executive council of one of conventions is applicant for constituting union in related scientific field, then indicators of all active conventions in that field should be invited and introduce the request of constituting union with agreement of almost 5 convention of other provinces.

5. in order to survey and emit justification the request of constituting union of scientific conventions is sent to secretariat  of council of surveying scientific conventions via indicators of executive council of almost 6 scientific convention.

6.  Upon issuing justification of constituting union namely constituting group, in order to choose executive council, the responsibility to inform and constitute council of indicators of union of scientific conventions is on constituting group of union.

7.  The   council of indicators of union is constituted by gathering 2 members of indicators of every scientific convention active in provinces and present people choose 7 members among themselves as executive council of union by 2 years.

8.  in order to choose the members of executive council of union, constituting the council of union of scientific conventions is legal and formal by presence of indicator of secretariat of conventions.

Note: The all stages of informing, constituting council of indicators and choosing    executive council of union should be done in utmost 2 months.

 9. Executive council of union is bound to notify the report of ratifications of indicators council and choose executive council of union formally in every period to secretariat of scientific conventions.

10. The executive council of union is bound to report the work of union to secretariat of conventions once in every 6 months.

11. Further qualifications to constitute unions and members of their constituting group is within the executive tenets of scientific association for mathematics teachers and in each case « council of surveying scientific association for mathematics teachers » will do stead commission.

 

Members of union

The members of  union of Iranian  math scientific association for mathematics teachers are indicators from each of conventions of provinces that is reached to 60 members ( 2 members form every province ). The executive council of union is chosen from these members.

 

Scientific and didactic issue of union

Union of Iranian math scientific association for mathematics teachers proceeded to propagate scientific and didactic issues namely « ettehad » for math teachers. Edition of math teachers' valuable essays in this issue can be a effective and worthy move in their growth and mobility  and  pervasive of issue. Honorable teachers are invited to prepare essays that considering their proficiency and interest, around the purposes of issue, in following subjects : instruction of math, science of math, application of math and history and philosophy of math. These essays will be edited after survey in write groups of issue.

• Choosing premier issue and (Dr. Ghorbani's prize).
• Choosing premier researcher and (Dr. Mosaheb's prize ).
• Choosing premier essay and (Dr. Farzan's prize).
• Doing the seminar of surveying ways and problems of the entry test of universities.
• Ding the seminar of  explanatory of ways for cooperation of convention with research organization.
• Consociation of treaty with institution of  faraway instruction.
